Science Sensemaking with TUVA Explore with mySci as we support students in working with real data as part of their science sensemaking. TUVA provides curated, NGSS-aligned datasets and activities that help students analyze patterns, make claims, and support explanations using evidence.
Improving Resource Navigation with Doktryna Join mySci as we test selected content on Doktryna, a digital platform. Learn how to implement this tool in your classrooms during 4th quarter for 3rd grade: Pinball Wizards; 4th grade: The Power of Water and Sensing Tsunamis; and 5th grade: From Sun to Food and Celestial Clocks and Calendars.
We are committed to removing barriers to science education for teachers and students.
The mySci team is partnering with Accessible Web to audit and improve our website and instructional materials. Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards by April 2026.
You’ll start seeing improved color contrast, headers that support better-organized documents, and videos with captions and audio descriptions, making lessons more accessible for all users, including those with visual, hearing, or learning differences.
If you upload or customize materials in mySci, small steps like adding alt text to images, using clear headings, and captioning videos can make a big difference for students. We’ll continue sharing tools and templates to support you so accessibility work doesn’t add extra prep time.
